Self Service modules allow users to take care of their login and user data without administrator interaction.

• Passwort Reset: On this webpage users can reset their password by requesting a token to be sent to a previously registered contact address.
• For proper working of the password reset via e-mail, the configuration of the local mail system has to be checked. It must be configured to deliver e-mails to external systems directly or via a relay host. Please consult the UCS documentation for configuration of a mail relay host.
• Administrators can set a user's password reset contact data in the users module of the Univention Management Console.
